Hi Guys
Was looking for stain guarding price guide lines as i have done the training to sell it.
Pricing for suite protecting needed as well.
Any tips on selling it i have the leaflets as well to try to convince the custoemer and the cards with one end treated and the other not as a promo.
Any help would be welcome

I charge half the price of whatever the cost of the carpet clean is or 15p-20p per square foot

At LEAST what you should be doing is working out how much fluid you will be using per suite or per nominal room size ie 16sqyd, 20sqyd etc. Factor in how long it takes to do a thorough job, add on a profit level you looking for and that is your minimum.
JOhns charge system is pretty much ok though.

Depends how much the stuff costs your buying and what coverage it does.
Looked at a few different ones and the price and sq m coverage differs vastly.

I used to use the old 3m cards to demonstrate to custy benefits, tea and coffee over the sink etc but you will be suprised how many call backs you get from them because the cards dont reflect actual circumstances.
They will actually expect the carpet/suite to perform just like the card, well it cant.
I usually say the carpet in here would possibly benefit from protecting, ask if its been done before, it might need a top up.
If they have 3 kids eating pizza and coke on the sofa, nothing will help it but if they have a nice carpet and want to keep it looking nice perhaps you might think of this etc etc.
Sometimes just offer to do the main wear areas through the lounge and round the dining table, you put less down and less work.
