Title: Why is my pole hose kinking?

Never had trouble before but now my pole hose has got a mind of its own and keeps curling up on me.Doing my head in trying to extend pole.Its about a year old and black.Changed it for a new clear one and within one week thats doing the same!
Why?What to do?

I had the same problem.  Gardiners Yellow hose it does what its told.

Because it is kinky.
