I know this topic has been discussed before but the info given then is not up to date.the other day i was placing a very heavy sofa back into a confined space i found it extremely difficuly placing the plastic film under the back foot of the sofa and could only reach it at arms length holding it with one hand while trying to push the plastic underneath.
I though it would be so much easier with one of those furniture lifters but when i went onto the net i could only find US suppliers and the cost of postage was as much as the product you guys mentioned Lidle doing a cheaper version of the "lift buddy" do they still do it as i could not find it in my local Lidle, where else where can i get one in the UK

Try sticky tabs from Restprmate - place them underneath when furniture is out and it will glide back into place with the sticky tab still in place.

The sticky tabs look good Joe Ive seen them before and didnt realise they can be torn off to any size to suit larger legs, just thought they were small square tabs till I watched the video, will get some myself, thanks!

Just been on ebay they want £28 for one from the USA plus $45 postage :o i want one but not that bad >:( its called the "lift buddy"

Sticky tabs will be your best bet. Even with a lift buddy thingy it'll still be hard to apply a block or foil under the feet of those akward sofas that are postioned in the corner of a room for example.
Place the sticky tabs on, then slid the sofa in to place. Two birds one condom...

The only thing in that post that would get you thrown out, is that you haven't used metric units, naughty boy.
I find something very similar does the job perfectly well.
