Went into house today the smell of urine was overpowering, i dont think the elderly lady could smell it she just said it needs a clean. :-[
Of course i will clean the whole carpet thoroughly but i thought it would be better if i could locate the exact area of soiling thats causing the smell, i do remeber seeing a thread on here about UV lamps and dog urine can this be used for this as well, or did i just imagine the thread ???

the "exact area" may be all of it Jim :o
I believe uv light will show where urine is - never tried it, normally use the doggy method and get on all fours and trace the smell that way. Happy sniffing.

Joe lol :D :D :D

CLASSIC JOE when you find it do you cock your leg ;D

UV light will show up the urine, I've got one albeit not a good one but the only problem is it has to be really dark in the room to show up clearly.
Works great in the bathroom at home at night when I can show the kids their aim isn't so good ;D
But during the day at a customers not so practical.
As Joe said "doggy method" Done it a few times myself.

Give your kit a good clean after too ;)

What an idiot :-[ of course it would have to be completely dark.
I am just picturing Joe sniffing around like a bloodhound ;D i made the classic mistake the other day in a eot flat saw a mark on the carpet touched it ,dont know why i sniffed it :( customer said dog or human, dog i said have you got any soap no sorry, luckily i have a hand wash gel in the van.
