Title: Van racking
Post by: Sunshine/Cleaning on April 13, 2010, 09:24:04 pm
Just got a new van and it is ply lined and has what seems to be holes for a racking system. Is that what it is? if so what sort is it?

Hi Stuart.
These holes  are for a sprung loaded pole to go into. Imagine looking into the back of your van and the pole would be like a hurdle across from left to right. The pole can be moved up against the item to be restrained.

Just brought new van and had same system, they are for strapping things against so not being thrown about back of van. I know this as my spare wheel was rachet strapped on them.
