Post by: windowcleaninginessex.co.uk on April 12, 2010, 05:59:56 pm
I have tried searching for old posts of sign written van photos, with no luck, so please if you have any photos of yours, please add it to this post. I am tring to work a design for my new van, but need some ideas for the wording..
Thanks
Darren

make it simple and eye catching, use a hook also, if you use a company that do this they will come up with ideas you have not thought of.

Be different from everyone else dont copy  ;)

Thanks Ian ,

I am using www.tradegraphics.co.uk at the moment to try and work something,
I intend to be different, but I just wanted some ideas. What do you mean by use a hook ?

Thanks
Darren

i wouldnt put too much thought into it - keep it simple!

keep all ads simple - flyers, cards.....

i know it looks nice and v pro with fancy pics..... but at the end of the day you wont get anymore work or better work with going over the top.

i used to go over the top with vehicle wraps on the three vans - real eye catcher - loads would stop and look at the vans but it didnt getb me more work cuz it was fancy.

alot say just have a big "window cleaner" across the van with phone numbers.

half the time customers wont even remember your business name - you are just simply the window cleaner.

look at the smoking ad - the bloke on the trapoline - seen that van? simple and to the point!
