Hi everyone,
I am new and sorry if post it on the wrong place.
I am starting new cleaning business and I was wandering If that is good idea and how that sounds to you:
Company name: GoodNClean, Get Maid2Clean -
How that sounds to you; Get Maid2Clean ?
Is it illegally to call my company like this , if there another franchise called Madi2Clean? I have checked company name availability on WebCHeck and it is all right -I can register it !
company massage : Don't just trim(neat) it Get Maid2Clean it!
Thank you all !

or GoodNClean

How about cleaned out ?
-
sorry i'm confused.
you want the business name Get Maid 2 Clean, or the business name Good N Clean?, but there is a franchise named Maid2Clean and GoodNClean?
if you're then i'd say ask on a different forum where legal people post in, you'll most likely only get opinions in this forum and they could be massively wrong for something very serious.
also as far as i know being a company means you're limited, so you're naming your business, not your company. you may be aware of this so sorry if you are, just thought i'd point it out.

thank you for that replay.
No I am not aware of that , could you analyze that please?

if you charge vat then you're a company, if you don't then you're only a business. could be wrong but this is my understanding

If you are limited you are a company ,,, a business can be sole trader , partnership , plc , or limited
-
I Have got a limited company, is that mean I can put another business name just on that activity and if yes, where and should I can register it ?
-
You can add another company name via companies house.
Wether the activities are link or not they would be trading as seperate companies. So the VAT/TAX wold be under a different company and not the first.
You would be better off keeping having a trading as. So lets say your registered company name is Bin 'n' Gone. Ltd. But you want another service and advertise it differently, like Maid2clean for residential then have the Maid2clean as a trading name.
Talk to your accountant, the reason I say this he will charge you on how your account are, not just on turnover.

hi there
you have to register for VAT once your turnover reaches or is expected to reach the current threshold, irrespective of whether you are a limited company, partnership, or a sole trader.
if you are a limited company then your registered name is xxxxxxx Limited or Ltd dependant upon how you registered it, you can have a trading of the limited company as well.
if you are not limited, then it will be Mr Smith trading as xxxxxxxxxxxx
or indeed trading in your own name.

Martin

How ShineNClean sounds to you ?
do you like it?
-
i'm not so keen on the N, but then that's just me, just as i don't like names so much with numbers in them, e.g. cash4gold, sounds a little "basic". of course just my opinion and it clearly works for some as there is larger companies like maid2clean that are successful afaik
