Posted recently about getting a carbon modular pole for 60' work. Ummed and ahhed about the Gardiners SL56 or Cleantech's equivalent. (Brodex were ruled out on price.) Both had pros and cons but in the end my colleague and I decided to go with the SL-56.
Well, it's arrived and it is a sweet thing! I showed it to a friend today who works for one of the big window cleaning operations in Cheltenham and he couldn't believe the weight. It's like driving a Berlingo everyday and then having a go in an Aston.
Got some three storey flats in a couple of weeks, which will give me a chance to get to grips with setting it up before we unleash it in it's full 10 section, 60' glory in the first week of May.

I got the same pole last month, top piece of kit, much stronger than it appears if treated with respect.
It's a dream to use at height compared to my carbon facelift.
It took me a couple of days to get used to the extra fiddling about with sections, external hose etc. & I couldn't use one for domestic AT ALL but for 40ft + it's the business.
Well pleased with it. No good in windy conditions mind. ;)
