Currently working 12-14 hour days to keep up with demand! That includes quotes. Analysis paperwork and database maintenance taking a backseat though. I class this as busy.
A Good week would be classed in terms of turnover, I.E. 1K plus.

Hi Guys,
Is it true that when you've been on the Fastrack that you regularly get £250 per suite.
£1000 =16 hours = 2days work = rest of week off.
Regards rob-s ;D ;D

i wish that was true, but the systems they teach do work
thats if you use them!!

jacko, you're working 12-14 hrs a day and turning over a grand, you need to put up your prices ;) ;) .....so you're starting at 8 in the morning and not finishing until 10 at night, how long are you going to keep that up for?
I do on average 12 jobs a week, I try and be finished for 3.30-4.00, although from Sept my son starts senior school so will catch the bus in a morning ( before the holidays started I dropped him at school, so could'nt start until 9am) so I'm going to start my first job at 8am so will probably fit in another job.

did i just read jakos post right :o 14 hours a day !! he is ethier mad , away with fairys, our a very slow cleaner !!! and only turns over £1000 pound week :o ,if i worked 14 hours day id expect no less than 600 a day ! and i prob need about 10 jobs aday ! is there no other carpet cleaner within 300 miles of u jako ? our are u cleaning the carpets with a syringe and sucking them dry with a straw ? no offence meant mate gary

I think Jacko has included time spent on business tasks other than cleaning which is something not many take into consideration. If you spend 30mins a day looking at these boards its 2.5 hours a week. A quote can take from 15mins to 1hour depending upon size and type. Do two a day is another 5 or so hours a week.
He also said £1kplus for a busy week.

come on mark 14 hours day! i do about 3 hours and earn around 1000 week regards gary

Hi Gary,
Jacko is a relative newcomer and a precise worker and a nice guy.
As he becomes more experienced he will reduce his hours like us old cynics ;)
I believe he is only in his second year and quotes everything face to face which is obviously very time consuming.
He also does various tests.
Having said that he's doing very well for a newby.
Cheers
Doug

I left the house today at 8.15am got home at 530pm. Did 5 smallish jobs and one quote for a commercial. Took 30 mins for lunch, spent around 30mins buying a new pair of work trousers and spent about 30mins or so ringing customers re bad debts etc.
I'll spend about 45mins later getting the van and gear ready for a big commercial job tomorrow. Spent 30mins this morning doing book work. Total hours worked around 11 hours. Money earned turnover for the 5 jobs £260.
Now for the scary part. Divide 260 by 11 = £23approx per hour.
What Im trying to get at is you guys who say you start at 9 and finish at 3 are kidding yourselfs until you actually add up what you spend your time doing.
