Title: Seems a lot of window cleaners have gone AWOL
Post by: The Jester of Wibbly on April 10, 2010, 06:12:44 pm
Picked up a shead load in the last couple of weeks while out cleaning, way more than if I had of gone door knocking.  All coming up to me asking me if I had any time to fit them in.   Most are saying there old window cleaner has gone AWOL and not seen them since before christmas.

And not all in the same area either, so not all off just one WC.

Happy days !!

I had addresses for four quotes today - this just stemmed from two quotes who gave me other addresses - and I cheekily asked a neighbour if she wanted a quote too; making five jobs in one morning and one of them is a £90 gutter clean (a big old place).

I'm picking work up all over the place at the mo; it's probably the best it's been since I first started up.

May be the redundant people are back into jobs as the market is settling down too.

I've had three new custies this week too. A £20 job, an £11 job and a £15 job. All every 8 weeks and in areas I work in.

One said I've seen you twice now and it was you or the guy who does next door with a transit but he hops over the garden wall and he's only there five minutes.
