High peeps,i am doing the carpet at an eot next week,i have been asked if i could do the final clean for them, now this is something i have done in the past, but it`s been a few years,so my pricing will be a bit out,so minus vaccing,as that will be a different entity..
3bed 3 story terrace,,top- floor 1 large room,skirtings switches,windows,
Middle floor,small bedroom,small bathroom,and double bedroom.
Ground,lounge/ diner, small kitchen, oven ,hob, inside cupboards normal letting agy spec of clean..
I am guessing 2 hr kitchen,2 hr bathroom 3 hrs the rest 1 hour spare in case £16 p/hr inc materials,sound ok ? £128

Depends on a various things Mark. How dirty it is, is there furniture, are you doing appliences (fridges, freezers, ovens), is it just you doing the clean or more etc.
£16 per hr is ok, though depends on your area-cheap for some, expensive for others. For what you stated i would go higher, end of day though if your happy earning £128 then fine.
Cheers

Have got my wife to do it ;D She told them £120,but not hourly rate, think most of the stuff will be going, just the oven.
I can crack on doing the carpets now
-
Are you paying the wife ;D.
I always give a job price not hourly rate. Did you get carpets with the clean.

No she has taken over, she worked for them years ago,so knows the house.
I have done there carpets a couple of years ago, going to be much easier without any of the furniture.
Mrs always gets a bit peeved when we work together,as i will be charging double that, and will be out in a couple of hours, will prob be giving her a hand to as i have to hang around for a job a couple of hours later

Hi Mark
£120 that is well under priced for the area, a house like that would take 2 days at least.
Good luck with the clean.

3 beds, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom over 3 floors = I'd quote it at about 14 hours, so at £120 its well under priced I'd say.
Depends how mucky it is of course, but usually eot cleans are more than just a dust and a hoover, you'd usually expect to be washing all the woodwork and cleaning all the windows as well as spending hours degreasing the kitchen and oven.
Hope she gets it done in a day!
Cheers

It`s not that big a job guy`s ,i am taking care of the carpets,so they won`t need any attention from her,it`s a terraced place, not students, professionals, who have had a cleaner, carpets will take me 2 hr max

Said no too £120 !!!
-
i's say thats very cheap, but if you are happy with that then thats all that matters ;D
-
Said no too £120 !!!
Not going ahead,i wouldn`t be happy earning that !!

Better than nothing.
Just do say 4 hours total mainly in bathroom and kitchen.
Quick wipe round the rest with no vaccing.

Well i did the carpet clean today, think it must be let private,as the place was a mess, stair carpets not held down,no underlay,so carpets threadbare ,draught marks, outlines of where rugs had been. And as for cleaning, think i would have walked away,it was a minger
