did they write the other off then if so im shocked. I front ended my 2002 vivaro in jan gargage quoted £2300 to repair and direct line told them to repair it van could only been worth 3k tops

i dont think your diy bike trolley will hold much water!  ;D

good to see the motor sorted, i remember seeing the last post when you first had the bump in the van.

How many miles can you go on a tank of fuel in those?

Yes it was wrote off, approx £5500 worth of damage, I very nearly brought it back from insurance company to repair slowly, but the wife moaned she did not want it sitting on the drive,

Doesn't hold much water but my daughter can do 5 mph on it,  down hill and wind behind her

Not sure how many miles at moment, but will let you know.
I would say my Primastar done about 36 to gallon.
Most of my work is around Essex and 45 mile raduis from home but  I am booked into Pure Freedom on the 19th of April, so will also find out what its like on a run.

The inside has been fibre glassed, so no need to Protecta-Kote
