Title: What size DI vessel?
Post by: Alun Whyte on April 06, 2010, 01:51:48 pm
What size of DI vessel would be required for a trolley system filling 8 x 25L tanks per day. Its a soft water area therefore only a DI system is required.

Vessel measurements would be handy as thats what the companies selling seem to specify.

depends on how often u will swap the resin,  will u be fuilling the tanks up with pure water first,  then if you are  but a 7 litre one from wintec/gardiners etc,  whats your tds?  i live in a soft water area and am going through resin  so am thinking of sticking a di vessel off a ro system in my van as well and moving my other di  to the filling point

TDS 0.15 from tap. Would fill tanks with pure water at home. Is there no scientific way of gauging what size vessel you require or is it a case of the bigger the vessel the more resin in it therefore the longer it will last before changing?

TDS 015 is pretty damn pure anyway.

The bigger the vessel the longer between changes, you shouldn't have to change very often with 015. We have 050 and have been told this is exceptionally pure.
