??? Hi anyone out there help? been using wfp system for 4 month most work fine but some work still spoting, is there some make of glass that is not suited for wfp, the windows in question dont seem to clean the same water doesnt cling to glass sounds stupid but if you have experienced this you should know what i mean, done everything possible to no affect. :'(

Is this on a commercial contract or residential?
There is a so called self clean glass out there, which repels water, usually only found on commercial sites though.
When you put the water on the glass, does it look as though the glass is really greasy?

yes thats it greasys the word, got about 3 commercial sites that it happens on, new builds (schools) also a new block of flats, leaves brush stokes on the glass and thats how they dry, any soloutions? :-[

New builds are the worst - you need to wash the windows down with a degreaser and that should sort them out. I cannot remember the name of the stuff we use, but I will look it up tomorrow for you.
Also, the spotting your getting is probably of the new builds also, this will be grease drawn from under the rubber in the frames, explain this to your clients and tell them it will take probably 4 - 5 cleans before all the grease is drawn-out and nothing can be done about it. It should not take that long. On your next clean, really work on the top of the frame, give it a good wetting and scrubbing, move onto the next. Then do it all again when the first clean is dry, this time, try not to wet the top of the frame, then you should have a spotless window. The next visit after that you will find easier.

We have experienced the same problem. We use a solution called MP9 which you can purchase from any good window cleaning supplies. It is passed by a Helath & Safety COSHH assesment (number 06052 if you need to quote it to your clients) and can be used on exterior and interior windows where grease is present. Its particularly good for restaurants and pubs where cooking and high levels of smoking are evident.
We dilute some in ionised water and apply it is the first instance with the sleeve, leave for a few minutes and then blade and buff as normal. The next time we use our WFP and to date have not had any problems with it. It still takes a few cleans with the wfp to get it clear though.
I dont know if we are supposed to use it with wfp - would suggest you check it out with the supplier. Hope this helps
