I'd have 1471'd the call and got her number. Then the following evening set the alarm for 3.31 am and phoned her back when the alarm went off asking for her address.
Maybe she was in her second home in Florida; there's about an eight hour time difference there.

A really dedicated professional window cleaner should immediately say:-
"Thank you for your enquiry madam, as it is 3.31 am and dark outside I will equip myself with a torch and be with you shortly to clean your windows."
Upon arrival, doff your cap, cringe over-courteously and clean said windows and if it is an average semi not more than five miles away you'll be back in time to do your first commercial customer of the day at dawn. (And be £30 richer - price made up of: first clean average semi £15 plus unsociable hours, so double it.) ;D
Mind you - I'm not that professional and you'd have to be talking three figures to get me out of bed at that time!

This is where a 0800 number would come in handy so all calls are diverted to your mobile.
When you finish for the day turn off your mobile.
Thinking about getting one myself for a couple of reasons.
1: You dont miss any call as it can be diverted to mobile.
2: You choose when you want people to call you.
3: No pervert gets your number and pesters you wife when your out.

Hi,
New to the forum, and w/c Finding the site a great help.
I'm interested in getting an 0845 number, and was just wondering if I can have the calls diverted to my domestic number, or would my phone company (Telewest) require my to get a business line?
Thanks
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jay
I'm interested in getting an 0845 number, and was just wondering if I can have the calls diverted to my domestic number
The 0845 number i have can be redirected to a landline number and it cost you nothing.
