Title: marks on bumper

can anyone help ive backed my van into the rear bumper only the corner no damage except rubber or black marks and a few small surface marks its a siver bumper . what could get it back to its new state ive seen adverts like car medic who say they can bring it back to new many thanks

Hi Ron,

There is a firm called Chips Away can easily sort that out for you.

However, if you want to do a basic job yourself, you need to get a product called Rubbing Compound (B&Q or Halfords), read the instructions, but use in small doses.

Oh one more thing Ron, I am not an expert on cars, I only know this, because I had a problem just like yours and I was advised to use this, it worked very well also.

We've used Chips Away in the past....they repaired some really small chip marks on my partner's Subaru Impreza (before he sold it).....they did a fantastic job and you couldn't see where the marks had been!
