Alright Guys,
How much would you charge to clean an average size conservatory roof?
We cleaned a new customers windows on Friday (9 windows + conservatory windows) for £13.
When I knocked on the door for our money she was horrified that we hadn't cleaned the conservatory roof and included it in the £13 price !!! :o

She is obviously having a laff, the cheek! We would charge on average between £17 & £40 to clean a roof
-
tell her she is lucky i won't do one for less than £20 upwards how much time would it take........ ::) paul 8)

we usally charge £1.00 a panel but that does not include cleaning the pvc :P
-
We charge 35 quid for an initial"deep clean" then a fiver everytime we come round.
If they dont take it up,we wont clean any part of the conservatory.
-
You lot are to cheap.
I won't touch a very very small conservatory roof for less than £40.

like paul .i agree .lets not rip ur selfs off .some people say ar its only the window cleaner .but no way. WE ar running a business not a charity . no disrepect to charity s . x cuse spelling .

She would have been lucky to get her house done by me for £13 then the conservatory would have been an extra (as they are) and the roof comes as another extra on top of that and is the most expensive job of them all.
Don't undercut your self just to get the Jobs or you will hate going around to do them, price right them from the begining and you won't look back.

Cleaning conservatory roofs is not part of a traditional window cleaners job. Customers will ask their window cleaner to do the job because they want it done cheaply(most of the time)
If you do it cheaply then you only have yourself to blame.

In fact , windowcleaners shouldnt be doing this work, ur underpricing it and ruining the job for others. Stick to windowcleaning.

Your aving a laugh now, if you've got the tools then use them - it's another income. Suppose we are not allowed to clean gutters in your world either then ?

DJ, why mess about doing other stuff, theres millions of windows out there want cleaning, just clean windows. The other stuff is a nuisance, spraying chemicals on , lances things like that. As other posters have said "its not bespoke furniture, its just window cleaning."
And gutter cleaning has nothing whatsoever to do with window cleaning , that belongs in the general cleaning forum part of the site. Im suprised the mods let people post topics like that in this section.
