Anyone know a free program where I can create a high res logo ?
A friend of my wife is a graphic designer and did us a logo. Its good, but not what I wanted. She sent over a pdf file. I like the writting, but it has a few pictures in that I didn't want.
My wife has spent 5 hours making one that is what I want, but the quality when printing isn't good.
Does anyone know how we can get our logo into high res ? Any programs avalible that are easy to use ?
I need to get leaflets made up soon.
Heeeeeelp

Did someone say something?
Trust Bateman (to change his name)
Dear uncle bateman... Can you help me ?
I've got a logo I love, but the quality when I print it is shat to say the least!
You can see the pixels... Its square looking
The graphic designer did a logo but put in the wrong picture and added a few water drops that I don't like.
Is their an easy way of making the design more sharper looking (pro style) without me spending any money ?
My wife isn't impressed with me that I don't like the graphic designers logo. Its nice, but its not what I want. I have the picture in my head and now have it on the computer. Its good for a website... But not for flyers, business cards or van sign writting when I get round to that part.Where's matt bateman gone ? Has he left like so many others ...

Hi Paul i rebranded.
The logo part wasn't good, i paid a pro £60 but they were useless. Whoever does the logo they need a programme called illustrater and you need a vector file and jpegs at different resolutions for different reasons (van graphic, winpro invoice, email sig erc).
(i'm not knowledgeable about this by the way i'm parroting what i've learned)
The other part of the rebrand is there has to be a reason, for me i had been going for nearly three years and had learned stuff. My early attempts were good but i thought some tweaking would improve things.
Some people get lucky at this, or get inspired, but for me it's always been hard work.If you do want a proper rebrand and not just a cosmetic change i would be glad to question it.

Will send them to you tomorrow guys.... Been on the JD tonight, not a good idea to be sending out emails I think.
They are not photos, just images created from pixels if you get my drift. And the wording is from word I think.

Sent the emails out to you guys.

What program have you created Logo on?
You need to Save it as a JPEG in Photoshop.
300 DPI Resolution will print to any size you might require.
You can get free samples of some Photoshop Programs on internet.
Hope this helps.

listen to this man here.
photoshop is for editing photos
illustartor is for creating things (ie logos)
it is vector and can be used at any size without distortion.
JPEGs are not ideal for logos

Hi
If you need to design a logo use , adobe indesign
Or illustrator, these can be saved as a vector image
Or bitmap ( jpeg tiff etc) if you only need the as for business cards then design the whole thing as a tiff or Photoshop file in Photoshop. On an A4 template at 300dpi. This way you won't have font issues when
You come to print it as the file will be an image and fonts will be part of it.
