Micro splitters work well on soot, spotting with number 3 where soot deposits are heavy :)

Oh Ron Get a Life!!!

Any CC with an ounce of knowledge will know micro splitters excel at soot removal. Yet you mock a genuine reply to a question >:( Hardy constructive >:( >:( >:(

Why do you continue to comment on subjects you know nothing about ???

I cleaned a lounge carpet last week after the customer had been told by another cleaner that the soot in front of the fireplace would not come out. I vacuumed thoroughly then pre-sprayed with solutions no. 3 spotter and then blotted. Nearly all the soot came off straight away. I then pre-sprayed the whole carpet with solutions no.2 after vacuuming, Then I extracted with clean water and the whole lot came up like new!!! One very happy customer  :D :D ;D

Ron,

I dont recall saying there is no other way than using micro splitters to remove soot, only that they have worked fo me on a number of occasions with perfect results.
