Title: flowmaster digital controller
Post by: PureBrite on April 01, 2010, 09:31:26 pm
Hi, I have just set up a new purefreedom system in my van & am using a flowmaster digital controller & shurflo pump.
The instructions say to calibrate pump & controller with WFP connect pole to hose set controller to 30 & PRESS up & down arrows to show the text CAL then press down to AUTOCAL then the controller will do the rest & when finished press SET.
Now my problem, I cannot get it into AUITOCAL mode so have calibrated it manually at 30, then using it to clean windows at  number 25 for a reasonable rinse, the pump is making quite abit of a running noise, is this normal? any ideas of how I can adjust it so it doesn't make any noise because im worried it may burn out the pump, I want to keep my pressure the same tho to give a good rinse.

Thanks, Kristian.

you need to press and hold the up and down arrows at the same time this puts it into calabarate mode to set pressure for dead end to acttivate if to much pressure on pump,

OK, so I prob have it all set up too high, should I set the CAL number just before It gets to the DEAD END point?

you need the dead end setting so you can have a good flow of water but when your hose is disconected then it dead ends as the back pressure is increased but dont set it too low or it dead ends just pumping water through your hose.
