Hi Guys
How much do you reckon we should charge for this with WFP? :-\
We normally quote the expected maximum cost and then charge according to the actual time taken at our hourly rate.
2 sides only as shown. Front = 20ft H X 20ft W, Side = 16ft H X 40ft L ;)
Access is no problem. :)
Thanks

whatever your first thought is plus 50% - just in case!

Monthly? £30.
Per pane? ;D
-
I mainly houses too, but £30?!!
I'd like to see anyone do that in an hour, even with wfp.
I'm no big pricing expert, but surely got to £45 upwards.
Don't say less just to get it, you'll wish you hadn't.
Roger.

Are you pricing inside and out or just out ? WFP outs no probs but inside will take a whole lot longer.

I've not used WFP but surely a job that size is worth a lot more than £45. I was thinking in terms of three numbers for the price (excluding the pence columns).

i reckon taking into consideration the whole outlay and all the glass 2/3 wfp thats alot of glass , i would suggest quoting £180 -£190 for first clean then around the £120 mark for regular cleans.
on traditional i would charge £250

£30.00? i do a building similar and charge £200 and get paid that every month. Form your own opinion on that but thats what i charge.remember whats their other option? cherry picker by hand at what cost?

Quoting just for the outside. :)

We were thinking around £100ish mark but we are looking for some guidance on this based on your experience ;)

£100 and upwards.I clean a building for £150 every 4 weeks with wfp and it has less glass.... they were paying.......£1,500 because they were using wc on cherry pickers and taking the whole day so imagine what their response was when i said 150.
-
Yeah sorry. Ignore me. ::)
Told you I wasn't used to pricing that sort of thing....
£100 sounds good to me Mick.
-
if their budget allowed for £1500...that is what they have to spend ...I would quote £500 for that no problems...not saying I would get it but £30...!!
I would not get out of bed to do that building for such a ridiculous figure, irregardless of the time it took...I am not in the business of giving discount for doing the job quicker...the reduced disturbance to the premises and its occupants as a result of your innovative WFP system is worth money to them...
LOOK at it :D
£500 surely...they may ask for a quarterly clean for that price, but if you quote £100 for a job they paid £1500 for, they will question the quality of the service you provide...monkeys/peanuts - you know the cliche.
go for it... ;)

I count over 200 panes of glass, even at 50p per pane it would come to over a £100. I'd say £150 would be about right. It looks like an all day job to me and one hell of a lot of water

I didnt say that I was an expert!
He's winding you lot up!

All I can say Mick UHPS is .."What kind of tape measure are you using?
It looks to me, just from the picture 30' high & at least 45' long down the side what you can see. What area is it in?

Thanks everybody for taking time to reply your comments have been invaluable ;) :D :D :)

I didnt use a tape measure :o :o :o :o :-\
The height; I worked on the door being about 6'6" high and I reckon its 3ish times that = 20ish ft. :)
The side; I estimated the first glazed section to be about 10ft, so times by 4 sections = 40ish ft :)
What area is it in?
Midlands area, so quote needs to reflect this region. Could probably charge £750 if it was down sarff ;D ;D ;D :o :o ;)

Good point 200 panes of glass. 8)
Each pane is no more than 2' H X 3' W, based on 1 minute per pane (well over the top) = 200 minutes + travel + set-up. Water consumption; we can throttle back to 2L/min so should be around 400 litres total so some left for a shower after ;D
£150 sounds good to me. ;) :)
Thanks

£239.00 - £150 for the clean and treat yourself to a new bag of resin ;)
