Region: North West England

Type: Commercial
Monthly Avg Value : £1,322
Established For: 10 yrs
Comments: Cleaning stores in Lancashire. 10 in total. 3 to 4 mornings a week. Start aroun 6 am finish 10.30 am 4 mornings. No ladders just pole. No collecting, paid by BACS into bank account. Plus there is always extra work but I've not included it in the total. I have put down the basic guaranteed income no matter what. Any questions feel free to ask. Got paper work to show been doing them for ten yrs (ie remmitance sheets for payments) Thanks
Asking Price : £20,000
I am not knocking nor approving of the value on this just wondered what you thought
its well established commercial , but it eats a fair chunk out of your week for approx £18 an hour
but you can start at 6 and do it no matter what im sure
but £20 k for 1300
its alot no?? maybe 10- 12 id of thought fair
be interesting to know if he gets it
maybe im missing out on what he sees

I always understood that the going rate was around 3 times the monthly turnover, making it worth £3966 if that's the case.
.
I have no idea if that applies to commercial though.
Does the asking price include all the equipment? And if it's so good, I wonder why is it for sale?
John.

10k tops :D iwould never pey more than x5 ;D

well i dont wanna start slagging the guy it may be really good work and hes retiring, done it for 10 years maybe he wants a lie in :)
just wondered how everyone felt about the value
3 x is generally domestic but even that would be cheap id of thought
but nearly 20 x ? is pushing it but maybe someone will pay for that kind of contract work , if i had it i dont know if i would ??
-
15 months before you draw your first lot of wages off it.
-
just added it up x5= £6610
if i really liked the work & wanted it i may push up 2 £7000 :)

if you still have it? shop work could dissapear!!
-
A lot can happen in 15 months ... such as the contract being awarded to another person .... 15 months before drawing a wage !!!!
Be easier and a lot cheaper to canvass £1300 of work
-
Any time I've bought work in the past it's been a waste of time and money.
There is no way on earth I'd fork over £20,000 for any amount of windows. You would have to be talking big bucks for very little work for 20 grand.

Too expensive by far.
Another problem is that people tend to use the change of owner/w/c'er as an oppertunity to change their schedule. So it may be £1300 now but unless there are solid contracts in place anything could happen.
Plus, if the rules are still the same (none contract) the cost isn't tax deductable either!
