Title: Check a trade
Post by: Bob Allen on March 30, 2010, 06:51:37 pm
How many people are a member?
How much does it cost?

A few years back I thought this looks like a good idea and proves you're not a cowboy etc (as per the advert).
Then I found out you just have to submit the names of 3 'satisfied' customers which wouldn't be too hard to 'fix' if you get my meaning.
No need to prove insurance or anything like that.
And the cost of being part of this? Was around the £400 mark, but that was just for being a member and a couple of vehicle logos. If you wanted the advertising part of the deal (on their website etc) it was around the £1k mark.
So that was the end of that idea  ;D

£1000 with all the options ,, well worh the money,, though in Bournemouth and the south coast it is a well known concept and brand ,, not so in other parts of the country.

It uses an Ebay style feedback system, I found lots of other small business owners use it to find services. I did a job for a windscreen man off there , who then fixed my windscreen, also a tree surgeon , who then cut my trees, etc

I prefer domestics you dont have to wait for your money and no hassle.

As im new to the scheme and as it grows, who knows? its early days for me to give any comments, if i start getting more commercials, i'll let you know

Hi

It was actually toothpaste!

On all my sinks, ceramic and SS, I use harpic toilet cleaner, very powerful and i can do any sink to gleaming in usually a minute sometimes 2 mins.

Wear gloves, sparkle with glass cleaner and kitchen towel.
