I purchased a Gen4 last October, not sure how I ever managed without it.

Hi Simon,

do you use more the gen4 for Dry carpet cleaning or to agitate the carpet.

To do that each one that replies would have to have tried them all in a proper situation. Hardly going to be the case.

and your poll has 2 questions -  which do you use?  which is better?    That makes the poll distorted.

I think between the recent threads and the answers given shows that all the machines are good.
3 of them will collect dry debri (2 with vacs, one with collection trays), one cant. 
All of them will do a decent job at agitation.
 
Your choice now on how much you want to pay for what features.
