i have 300gpd ro should the water be coming out the waste more than pure

you will get more waste than pure mate

you can fit a tap to the waste and slow it down a little, should even it out a touch

though you do need to open and flush more often

oh and they say your membranes will wear out slightly quicker, but it was allways a good trade off for me
