had 6-8 months (can't remember)

broke and patched up a couple of sections now.

anyone know if gangster pole is more durable?

also gonna get zensorflex is this inter-changeable with my current musclezone?

as long as the fish pole is made of carbon it can be repaired and fixed like new......  lwsach@gmail.com

30ft is getting near the limilts for a glass pole, as you have some experience of poles I would go for the F16/M16 to 42ft and just use it at 30ft its stiff, mine is +5 years old now.
Your spare Musclezone idea  may be an option, never had hands on. The base section of the spare should fit into your current base and give you an extra 4ft.

i would buy 2 Zen-flex ( or whatever they are sending out these days )

with the base sections of the pole you have

you will be able to use a few base sections to add to the length

I have found that with a bit of swapping round you can intersperse with sections from two different fish poles. But I guess most people realise this, and it's just me only just catching on  :-[

For example the top three sections of my Zensorflex fit perfectly onto the Avanti 16metre pole I bought off ebay. Making approx 50ft pole
They need to though it's a bit thin. The bottom three sections are great, thick and strong like a zensor. but the top three  ::)

I'll stick with fish-poles though.
The zensor is fantastic, I bought three, and I'll still on my first one 6 months later, and yes you can make a bigger pole with a bit of swapping round
