Hi,
In the coming weeks I will dropping 5,000 leaflets with my carpet cleaning offers.
From your experience, I'd be interested to know how many calls I can expect...if any ! :o
-
who's doing the leafletting?
-
I'm getting 5000 leaflets from a company called D P Design and Print...£86 which I thought was a good deal considering my usual printer was gonna charge me more than double that !
I will be dropping the leaflets myself during quiet times to save money rather than use specialised companies.

What Offer do you have

Could those who are ticking the 15 and over box please tell me how many more than 15?
Do you think you could also forward me a copy of your leaflet ? I would love to have a shifty ::)

What Offer do you have
I'm still working on the offers...
The printer suggested some ideas, and his examples looked quite impressive.
eg Clean 2 Rooms, 3rd one is free
£5 off price with this leaflet
Have your Lounge cleaned and I will clean the stairs for free
Obviously, these are just examples. The main thing is to get them to ring.
I dont mind doing freebies if I can retain that customer for years to come !

Stairs for free is too much as youll need to do the hall and landing too and stairs can be a pig sometimes. Dont swallow the customer for life thing either. Some will many wont no matter how good you are. Thats just life.
Focus on getting a higher job ticket ie. 3 for 2 etc as single rooms arnt money makers.

bang on the button Mark :o
If you were to keep all of your clientelle for ever you would need to never go on holiday or have anytime off or not book any other work in just incase that customer need you on a Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 just after has packed his paint brushes away!
You can't win them all so keep collect new customers but yes you do have to look after the older ones.

I must admit I'm a figures man, I like to do average job ticket but the job per 1000 does come into it somewhere.

This week it's approx £100 although the week hasn't finished and it depends as some customers add on to their cleaning when I'm there or if I ask, I do 4 - 5 a day and then a few quotes and I'm home for 4-5 depending on location and traffic so it's quite nice atm.
