Title: Fence Paint Problem
Post by: Mr Bungalow on March 22, 2010, 10:22:12 pm
Hello All,

Does anyone have any suggestions for removing fence paint off uPVC and glass?

I have tried everything from G101 and Truck Wash with no luck at all.

Any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards. :)

Hello Again,

Using a blade will take ages as there is a lot of it covering half the conservatory and would you not have to be careful with the uPVC as there is also a lot on that as well?

Your replys appreciated.

Thanks. :-\

Bungi -

i used a little white spirit and tfr together and used one of those kitchen sponges with the green stuff on the top rubbed over and rinsed well

hi darren

Use graffiti remover that gets it all off - upvc and glass.  I get it from Aroma Products in Hinckley but Hammonds Hygiene at Blaby do something similar.  Give us a ring or pm if you want anymore info.

Tosh - i'm not surprised Scotchbrite is really good stuff, but the cheapo sponges don't really have much grunt in them.

it's pretty much the same as the bit on unger applicators
