Title: Gardiners Expensive! - topic revisited
Post by: davids3511 on March 22, 2010, 09:11:53 pm
Some of you may remember a topic a little while ago where I was rather upset at the SLX replacement section costs. I think it is only fair to Alex that it is pointed out that the costs have been reduced quite a bit and are now much better value.

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/SLX___Super-Max__Mk2___Mk3_.html

Apparantly they could negotiate better prices due to ordering a large number of poles and spares at the same time. It returns the SLX to fantastic value for me at least.

That's good of you to update us with that mate. ;)

Still using my MKI but at least I know it'll not cost the earth if indeed the beast does wear out.

No mate, sent email earlier but posted on here as I needed to know before tomorrow so thought I double my chances!! ;D

I was hoping you'd post though as I know you are experienced with the sl2, so thanks again. ;)

Much more reasonable. I like a supplier who takes on board what we send in e-mails!  ;)
