Title: Recycle water?

How many times can you recycle the waste water from an ro system?
Hope thats not a daft question just been asked and wasnt sure of answer-was told that it could be used a couple of times after that has to be wasted as water would burn plants! :-\

i run a 200 gpd ro unit on off the waste outlet and toyed with the idea of putting a further ro after that but filters will be hammered in no time so didnt bother , so im recycling once .
