Post by: Bryan_Dolby on March 21, 2010, 11:18:55 am
I would like thank all the people who attended the windex show
It was a great two day event
Seminars were well attended

FWC as successfully promoted the professional side of our industry

It was good to see you all trying in the window cleaning competition

Mrs Morris was the best(new record)

My only regret was SLUMPY NEVER CAME to see me :-[

Bryan very well done on the Windex show.
We will be looking at joining the Federation within the next month.
I have also booked my place on the NVQ course with Andrew Willis.
Could you please let me know what it is you make the public aware of with regards to window cleaning, sorry for the long message.

I can vouch for Bryan, I seen him examining the goods at every stall, I tried chatting to him to annoy him, while he was playing with the equipment

The FWC are looking into its marketing and getting the public aware of what to look for in their window cleaner

My feelings at this moment the public are going to be the hardest part
My opinion would be to get window cleaners to spread the word around

Does anybody have any ideas how we can get the message out there

Bryan

Bryan do you have an email address as I don't want to start an argument with fellow forum users, I have an idea but it may lead to ridicule and arguments.

hi bryan
i remember this topic from a long time ago.
its a wierd one we all agree on something being done but cant find a way to get the messsage over that is affordable. i remeber someone saying tv adverts, totaly unaware of the costs involved.
have you got a new startegy, be interesting to hear. its so annoying we do our best to look and behave professional, yet customer take the first person to knock on thier door with a cheap price. i recently had a customer change to me, problem was she could not cancel her window cleaner because she had no contact details for him! a professional sucsessful business woman, who lets someone have accsess to her houses and has no idea who they are.

Hi All,

That was not me, david willis from Impact43 who posted that, I don't know who the other david willis is though there are plenty of us.
Re dates: Just working on all of our enquiries from the show, had alot of interest for the NVQ so was really happy with that

Thank you to all those who came to the stand and talked to us and those who attended the seminar that the old man did.
