Title: VAN INSURANCE
Post by: John Rimmer Marshall & Rimmer Ltd on March 20, 2010, 03:55:11 pm
Recieved my renewal for the van yesterday. Just looked at it now (BIT OF A SHOCK) its very nearly
£100 more than last years. Anyone ells on here had the same SHOCK? Have been with the same
company for a few years now, but needless to say i will be looking for more quots. Almost tempted
to do like he does on the advert, ie give em a ring and say your having a LAUGH arnt you its a scudo
van not a LIMOUSINE.

I know this sound's daft but, take a look at https://van-insurance.tescocompare.com

Quote from my present insurers came in at £293; got that down to £187 through tescocompare and the strange thing is.........the underwriters are the same company :o So who's making a packet on commission then?

My insurance went up 20% over last year for no apparent reason after venting my splein i got it down to £7 more than last year they just take the p thinking you wont bother chasing them and accept the increase, they bank on you be lazy.  "bank" being the operative word ::)

Everytime my insurance is up for renewal they try n charge for than the previous year.  Give them a call explain that your not happy with the renewal price & that you have had a quote from elsewhere that are prepared to do cheaper.  9/10 they will beat last  years renewal.

Richie.
