thinking off buying an additional washer, i would like a diesel but which make is the most durable? i know general opinion for petrol is honda, but i dont know which are the most reliable diesels
-
honda, lombardini, etc :)
-
I would'nt say honda for diesel - lombardini is Italian and has been taken over by Kohler (a kohler would outlast a Honda side by side). Theres Yanmar which are good or even the likes of hatz. I have a Robin which I have had for over 20 years and still going strong and came into my pocession because it rolled down a motorway imbankment

thanks i.ve heard good things about yanmar

The L100 is a good workhorse on a pressure washer but noisey - the slit eyed disposable engineering beansprout scoffers have made copies so you need a geniune one but people on here rate their gear ??? You pays your money and takes your chance

I've got a Yanmar L100 and L40.
They are great machines, very economical.
The L40 isn't suitable for bigger jobs and wont run a RSC.
Try to get one with an elecy start, they are much less hassle.

Yanmar anyday,if looked after will last for years, you say it wont run a RSC/ FSC mine did quite well, only reason i got rid of it was the hassle of carting it about then going over those bits with the turbo.
BTW in ur L100 what oil you using?
