up near the bulk head |I had a 650 layflat in one, and now have 2x250L up right tanks in it
-
thats where im thinking how you fixing them ive got lengths of angle steel bolt them them down then was gonna use to 1 ton straps
-
sorry my mate took van home with him during weekend
-
Craig. Isn't that a lot of weight to have concentrated at the back end of the van?
I may well be wrong about this, but I thought that you should have heavy stuff placed as near the centre of the wheelbase as possible.
...
And I could be wrong. I've noticed that container carrier artics always have half-containers placed toward the rear of the trailer.

I got a 400 lay flat positioned over rear axle of swb transit,I will try take some pics.its only the t260 85hp one, barely even notice it in the back,I just took it out to put some furniture in,so will take some pics when my battery on camera is charged.I was looking today how much space a upright one would save,But was thinking they would be very difficult to secure safely with the high centre of gravity?

I just got rid of my Transit SWB T280 and have the original brackets from it from Pure Freedom, you can have them if you want,my 500 litre upright was a few inches away from
the bulkhead ;)
-

-
The tank frame I have is from Pure Freedom that have holes all the way round,I'm based in Leatherhead
