Title: generic pictures on leaflets

Hi All

I have recived quite a few leaflet design ideas from members of this forum and others. There seems to be the same pictures in the leaflets from diffrent companies. Just wondered if this was the norm, or do you need to ask permission.

most pictures used on leaflets either come from other carpet cleaners who take them on jobs or are scanned from brochures.

I was talking to mark at DP design about this and he said he was commissioning a professional photographer to take a full range of carpet cleaning related photos.

I think the most used photo is a Extracta photo of a bloke cleaning a suite.

it does me make me laugh to see my photos on other people websites and leaflet, I've even seen my photo with my head cut off and another head stuck on ::) ::)

Are they all award winning Carpet Cleaners in the Beverley Arms ??? ???
