Ok, I need a new RO Unit approx 300 gpd. Which is the best one and where to buy? RO Man gone bust, so do i go for a Merlin 720 gpd which will give me the pure water i need but is it as pure as an RO Man? If not is it really going to make a difference, as i got a DI vessel n my van? Or where else do i buy? Help please!

If you can afford a 4040 the definatly get a hf5, and I couldnrt recommend June at gaps highly enough she seriously knows her stuff...

i cannot see one on there, how much are they?and how much how fast do they produce water

chopsie, i just looked, it is under the ha4040 system etc. Almost 600 pounds. rejection rate 98%.
i still not sure, but i liked my old ro-man 300gpd. thinkin its time soon to move forward. i take it this 4040 system window washers is not static but for van mount?

I think pure freedom sell the 300gpd units and most suppliers sell the membranes and pre-filters.
I have 300gpd as part of static system. Production rate is slow but it makes more than i use in a day and it brings my tds from 200 to 003-04 so I don't bother to use resin.

I've got a 40-40 system, originally from Ro-man but just replaced the membrane with a HF4 from Gaps (June's recommendation - more than fast enough for me - 2000lt in about 8hrs) 300ppm in, started at 003 out but settling down now to about 006
It's a static set up in my shed so I can use a 240v booster pump, 2 1000lt IBC's with 240v sub pump for transfer and flow meters on waste and pure so I can track usage down to the nearest litre - I think the 40-40 is a bit overkill for the one man band, you can make enough water for a whole week in less than half a day.
