Title: what pole to purchase

Hiya guys....
I need a pole what i can add lenths to if need be...
iv just shelled out on a few of the the hydra pole from brodex.....always used universal yellow fibreglass things :-[cheap n nasty.......
Anyway these brodex poles are sound alloy & fibre glass,both rigid ;D
Iv got a 30 ft x-tel,grey thing for 3 storey buildings,but it bends everywere at a height....just a knightmare to use :'(
I wondered if theres many poles i can buy then add sections?????
iv seen modular poles,but they to expensive to buy @ 1 time,plus i like extend poles
I would like to buy another 30ft(rigid one) & add height to it,as i have big jobs coming soon....
Any help much appreciated

Omnipoles can be added to and are very hard wearing. They are a bit heavy, and a but wobbly but, we still have all of the omnipoles we bought 5 years ago.

I have an Omnipole too, thought it was the dogs cahonies when I bought it. I will do anything now to avoid using it, sure its a great pole and very robust but its just sooooooo heavy,
when I started i used a 24' all day every day..... how??? it kills me now to use it for one job. am I getting old?  ;D

You hit the nail on the head. I use Brodex 3YG's now, they are fantastic value (when they eventually get delivered).

do you use the fibre or ali poles.
Is the fibre glass not bendy.

Ours are alloy, They aren't really much less wobbly than the hydra fibre glass. They are slightly heavier 0.2kg I think. They are cheaper though, and the alloy ones come with a 3 year guarantee  ;D
