Why are they disliked so much (too clean) and what other types of guttering is there. Not too sure what the differnence is to other forms of conny gutters??

See this conservatory has a box gutter.

You have a box gutter wherever a conny roof slopes down towards the wall of the property. This picture shows what I mean:

That makes it really difficult to clean as you have to get at the roof panels from the side. In particular, you can't see the entire panel. And cleaning the ridge capping is a pig as you have to hold the pole at a low angle for a long time. Knackering.
Here's another one. This one has a box gutter on two sides. Imagine how difficult it would be to do that one. Your arms would feel like they're dropping off! And how do you know how well you've cleaned the roof sections just the other side of the roof spars where you can't see.

I HATE them - and sometimes turn the jobs down if they're too difficult.
