Hi all,
I'm after a small hard surface tool for attaching to the tm or porty to clean woodwork and hard surfaces when doing house cleans, i remember seeing one a few years ago which had a brush like fitting on the end to cope with the contours of door frames etc.
Anyone have an idea where i can get one ?
Regards

Derek,
I think they may be too big for what i want, it needs to be like a small detail tool for around door frames and skirtings etc, prob about 3 inch, like a small hand tool but adapted for hard surface.

Old brush strips from upright vacuum cleaners and a stong elastic band work wonders for me, and saved a few bob.

you want one of these.. cobra hand tool.
It has brushs on the bottom, good tool I'm told but never mentioned on here strangely.
I think woodbridge sell them.
-
yep thats the boy, perfect :)
although i wouldnt normally do business with w@@dbridge, but might make an exception this time :P

I have this.

Used once on my own bathroom.
It was an impulse buy, thought I'd get into hard surface cleaning at some time
but never got round to it.
It's virtually brand new and cost me £235 inc vat.
Make me an offer.

I've got one of these. Good bit of kit, but you need to be running at a high psi for it to be really effective.

Steve let us know how much they are? they are like $200 in the US but dont know here, probally £300 odd! rip off Britton an all ;D
Cathedral, how much PSI will they take?
guess they need 800psi plus? otherwise your just rinsing.
I was going to get one sent from the states last year but think i'm going to get a 'mini turbo hybrid' instead, could still do with one of these also though

Woodbridge sell them they are £320 plus VAT plus £10 post.
ooch! good tool though.

after seeing the price have decided to make my own, a standard hand tool with internal jet married up
to a brush tool from a vacuum hand tool, slotted over the end.
Should do the trick, will let you know :)

Hi Steve, I have ordered one from Rotovac in the US even with duty and post its still alot cheaper.
PS. dont forget some hand tools only have a low PSI valve, you may want to cheak you might blow it at 800 plus
I do wonder weather woodbridge thought I ment the small spinner tool, you know the mini hybrid. Trouble is cant see any of this on their site to check, their websites like a maze.
Did they give you same price? Do you think they knew which tool you ment?
-
To be honest the cobra looks the closest to what I want but £300 odd is just too much !
You make a valid point about the psi, it will have to be pretty high to do any good, will just have to try and see .
What price are you getting it for from the us ?

£185 ish including post
plus duty about £40 max?
I agree I would not pay £360 it rediculous :o
