My choice would be the top one. there is a cheaper 4040 lower down if your looking for a cheaper one.

Have onlyt heard good reviews about this membrane:

The RO UltraTec HF5-4040 has no equivilant product at the moment from any of the other membrane manufacturers ranges. This membrane will replace and out perform any of the membranes lised below

Thats was taken from the website.

If it can make water quicker at lower pressure has to be a good thing, most things that save time in my book is worth paying extra for.

I will be replacing my 4040's with these membranes when they are due to be renewed

I have the Hf5 40-40 and my pressure is 45psi. my water in is 350 and out it is 7 at over 2lpm.

Can produce more at the same ppm, but wanted to look after the membrane and wasnt to sure on if it would damage it.

I got this after being recommended it and think it is excellent. Haven't really used my static due to space and cold yet, this set up alows me to fill up in the mornings in a couple of hours.

I have it set up at 60 40, but it was doing 5050 fine and would do better than that, ppm went down when I did it 50 50 but wasn't sure on how it was looking after the membrane. June at gaps said it should last me a couple of years if regulary flushed and pre filters. More than happy with it.
