picking up my new van this week - has one of those van ladders behind the drivers seat.
so what do i do with it? whats it for? anyone found a good use for it?
-
do you mean the bars that go from floor to roof behind the drivers seat???
if so its to stop thing smacking you in the back of the head.
if you mean a ladder to fit the back door stick it on ebay.
-
yeah the bars behind seat - garage called it a drivers seat ladder so just thought that.
seems a bit pointless but if i can find some way of making it handy - maybe for hanging stuff in van ..........
-
yep its just for safety, i doubt the garage knew what it was for other than the spec sheet said drivers ladder..
-
The first time you have to slam on brakes you will find out what it is for.
-
i just used to hang stuff from it, also handy for bungieing things in

Do you mean the thing that looks like a ladder but isnt one, thats made from cheap steel, spot welded at the joints and held in place with 4 tiny bolts?
If so thats the thing that will stop the 1/2 ton of water travelling at 50 miles an hour from bitch slapping you upside the head when you brake hard. ;D
