have the new alloy hydras from brodex but brushs dont look the best.
-
At the moment I'm test driving the sill brush from bayersan ............... it seems to be doing the job for me.
Weight wise it doesn't feel any heavier than the green Unger flocked brush, if anything I would say it feels a tad lighter.

It doesn't say what it weighs, it just says that it is lighter than the Vikan,

thanks for the link, you would think they would give you the weight?
-
No harm in asking for the weight. Strange that they know the weight but havent said, so slightly lighter i would say.
I use a vikan mono for first cleans Jouk45, ye old trusty brush as i call her ;D
-
yip vikan is still king, i love the superlite flocked, i will need to try the mono one though i think that would have more scrubbing power, if the sill was that light, i would never touch anything else,
-
Am going to try the bayersan sill brush soon. Its a good price... Probably because they are not that well known.
Joe.. You have email on your hotmail account :)

Well, I've weighd both the Bayersan sill complete with angle adaptor,y piece and tubing, and the green Unger flocked complete with angle adaptor, y piece and tubing.
The weights are;
Bayersan, 596g
Unger, 582g
Hope that helps

thanks for that, i wonder why they say is lighter than the vikan??
ok wipers will look now

right ok - im swapping over next week and now im thinking do i need to ditch the brodex brush?
with you saying they are no good on first cleans - am i just over worrying????
-
The Vikan weighs 565g without the angle adaptor,y piece and hoses. So I would say there is not that much in it.

Just grab a vikan mono for your first cleans. I find these make first cleans alot easyer and have noticed alot of others say the same.
Then when you have done the first ones, go back to the brodex brushes and keep the vikan as a first clean brush. Thats how i do it.
