Just been looking throught the new cleaning & Maintenance magazine and ionics are promoting there new modular pole called the swift, theres nothing on the website yet though,m i might go to there demo day to have a look
-
Hi Steve, yes mate i had a chat with Damon who gave me the run down on whats new. They are going to launch the new poles at the cleaning show...are you going?
-
Yeh, i might pop down to the worthing show as interested in the glyder pole, ive have already bought a superlite 70ft, but interested to see how the ionics pole compares
-
I have got the glyder, its the biss mate, whats the worthing show? How's that split relay working mate?
-
The relay works great mate and nicely hidden,
Ionics have a demo day at southern janitorial in worthing,
I used to use the old ionics carbon poles, the clamps didint last long and the nuts start spinning so have gone to xtel hybrids, the shorter length and lighter weight is def a plus, the new glyder seems on par though

there new pole the swift is not a modular pole, its of modular design, it has clamps the call them transverse clamp. the clamps are almost the same as alex on the slx the difference is the lever can be swapped from left to right, that's handy but they come in Orange same body design as alex, they even do orange pole hose now yuk i will stick to black, i got there new catalogue this morning,
now weight for the swift pole is as follows
35ft 2.90kg
45ft 4.10kg
65ft 6.75kg
there are a few new bits like the R2D2 gutter vac
