removed the base from the top
i found the black wire not connected to the battery
left it open put the wire back on and got it on charge
red light now on
if i press the on -power button should the pump kick in or wont it work as no water is flowing
when the buttons pressed i can hear a thud and nothing else from the pump
a bit like when a starter motor gets stuck

get a full charge in it then try it m8 :) if u aint got any water in it dont run it, as it wont do the pump
any good :(

any idea how long to fully charge

mine takes about 9hours, but lasts ages ;)

found the problem
the battery was charged and the terminal must have come off when removing the casing
closed the terminal with a pair of pliers to secure better
i had to remove every connection then reconnect hoses to i found the fault
loose wire-connection to the power supply
-
::) they shouldnt b sent out like that >:( glad u ave sorted it tho m8 ;)
-
thanks for your help
they work great once you have tightened every wire
i suppose they are thrown together in 10 mins in the arse end of china
thanks again
-
no probs m8, glad i could help..... kind of ::)

Its down as to preserve the battery is transport to the UK. It could bump against something and switch on in transport. This would kill the battery if not known.
-
may help if they told you this when purchased
also a loose fitting on the charging unit looks like poor construction not a sasety precuation
is would have saved me 3 hours yesterday
