Title: white marks on glass (Lime scale i think)

Only been window cleaning a couple of months and a couple of customers windows have white marks on glass where guttering has been leeking! any suggestions for getting it off? Cheers Hayles

We use blades to remove lime scale.

But beware you must use new blades and you may have to renew the blades throughout the process.

Clean the window first preferably with wfp and leave it wet (this helps prevent scratches). Then carefully scrape the affected area and see if it is having an effect. Careful not to scratch the glass.

If the lime scale has been on the glass for a considerable length of time this method alone will not work. You may need to put a detergent on it. Mr muscle limescale or the like.
