It may vary from area to area but the only help thet we have found is employing somebody who has been unemployed and on benefits for over six months. There is training available for people who face redundancy. There are certain incentives available in other parts of wales but out of my area. You Need to check with the local employment people to get the picture in your area.

Trainees can get ILA's for training uaually £200 but the employee must apply themselves. They can get £200 for each course but only one payment per year.
PS
There's currently a £1000 available for employers who take on someone from the unemployed register, not certain about the criteria.
