or you could try bleach, unless someone tells me off for suggesting it!!
good luck!

I would try wiping it with cellulose thinner - you can get a small tin of it at Halfords. If that doesn't work then I would rub it with 1200 grade wet & dry sand paper then polish with brasso.
A lot of hassle for a tiny mistake.
Good luck & don't blame me if it doesn't work

I know black marker pen & paint are removed on powder coated surfaces and painted surfaces by a product called de-solve, was producted tested by Professional Builder Magazine (from Jewsons etc) good results. Also known as Kt14 & KT70 both the same one is an ordinary aerosol sray the other a projectile spray. Most indutrial paint suppliers carry stocks.
regards & good luck Jan
If you have no joy my e.mail is jan@tech-clean.co.uk

Don't use thinners or solvents you will permanently damage the plastic surface. Use T Cut with a soft cloth or even better with an orbital polisher. After you have removed the ink, polish with a wax polish, car polish will do.

hi there,
dont even touch bleach.
black marker from upvc, try chemspec wet solvent, or prochem gel, its wonderful stuff.
we work on sites all the time, and there is nothing better than spirit or wd40, accordinging to site managers, personally that stuff stays in our vans for the last resort.

steve,
Go to www.everbuild.co.uk, click on "Products", then on the left hand column of the page click "cleaners & lubricants".
You will find a upvc cleaning solvent and a cream!, these should get rid of most stains without harming the substrate, or just type-in upvc cleaning solvent into your search engine or on ebay to find a supplier.
all the best
