Post by: Steve. Taylor on March 06, 2010, 07:03:04 pm
Had a delivery today 50ft length of vac hose & solution hose, now with my old hoses i have always used cable ties trim with side snips then burn the sharp ends with lighter to round them off

But would like to know what you good people do.

leave um seperate?  cable tie together? tape them? ect ect

And why you do it this way would also be good to know cheers...

Basicly i am fishing for ideas ;D

i have some with cabel ties and some without.

If you have a stiff solution hose I prefer using the ones without a cable tie.

I did have some solution hoses that I got from Woodbridge a few years back that used to kink I found it helped if i used tape or cable ties.

Not over keen on using gaffer tape makes it look as if your hoses are held together with it.

Why not use velcro straps from B & Q. Theyre cheap and can be used multiple times as opposed to ties - and they wont leave a sticky residue like gaffer tape.
