i think that cillit bang stuff is supposed to get through limescale and you can buy that everywhere , might be worth a try for a few quid

GROT BUSTER pour it on and leave for a couple of hours that stuff is mad it shifts everything

IF ITS VINEGAR WARM IT UP .I use citric acid from the chemist and its power and put some in hot water and place the parts in it and boil if you can.
