Title: LAP DANCING
Post by: Steve. Taylor on March 06, 2010, 11:49:16 am
Did a job on tuesday at a lap dancing club carpets, tiled floor, wood flooring. The usual sticky beer, chewing gum ect in the afternoon 6 girls came in to practice 2 of the girls were being trained. could not belive my luck, pouring hot water into my portie has never been so difficult :P didnt know where to look ;) ;) might have missed a few patches here and there but only human ;D

One of the girls was having a laugh trying to make me blush by picking up the wand and dancing with it. Think i left the power burst down to long have always had a short attention span.

So to sum it up 3 hour job took 4 hours probaly missed a few bits here and there pre spray left to dwell to long struggled to fill the tank without getting it down the sides of the machine. tried going up side down on the pole mobile phone and coins falling out of my pocket and going everywhere.

Now some will say unprofessional but ask me do i care lol ;D ;D

Steve..... ;D

Not unprofessional at all mate, i think you will find that it was a lapse in concentration or it was your 2nd brain (the 1 in your triusers) taking over  ;D  I used to DJ at a lap dancing club, propably the most entertaining place i ever did DJ for.  I know what you mean about the girls trying to make you blush coz when i first started at the club some of the girls would tease something rotten before the club opened.

If i were you i would offer the club a discounted price to have the carpets n floors cleaned on a regular basis EVEN IF THE PRICE MEANS YOU ACTUALLY DONT MAKE ANY MONEY just so you can get in there again  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Richie you right mate this is the second time i have cleaned the place the first time the place was empty i have suggested every 4 months and the guy that owns the place has agreed he also owns a scaffold company and has put a lot of work my way. because of the amount of work he has got me i offerd to do the next clean for free. He told me not to be silly telling me i had a buiseness to run.

So that also tells me the sort of person i am dealing with.

As i have previous experience of Lap Dancing Clubs i strongly believe i should be the one that goes with Steve next time.

Steve,
Have a word with the owner and tell him you will ONLY clean the premises when the girls are there.

Not so many as a carpet cleaner .

I used to DJ at a lap dancing club,
Use Technics Richie or cdj`s ? Just looking into getting some software with breakout box + timecoded vinyl,as i think mixing with Ableton is cheating !

What software / setup are you using at the moment Mark?  Im looking at making a comeback. Been out of it for 2 years due to getting bored of it after about 10 years.  Always get people telling me i was a fool to hang up my headphones  ;D

For Dj`ing i use Technics decks, have done for years, not playing out much really, just the odd house party, but have other mates that just use laptops,as vinyl is really hard to get now, most stuff is mp3 download only  :(,i want software like Traktor, which lets you manipulate mp3 files like vinyl, using timecoded vinyl,so don`t lose hands on feel.
In the studio i have cubase, cool edit pro,and acid pro .But this is all out of date now

Hi Mark,
we tried the laptop / PC route about 4 years ago but after a few gigs we ditched the idea because we didnt feel as though we were HANDS ON with the whole system.  I know you can get some amazing software now for laptops but to be honest i would continue to use decks. I miss doing the Clubs n bigger gigs coz of the buzz you get from large crowds but also enjoyed most of the private parties.  Christmas was always a busy time, we had a contract to supply West Bromwich Albion Football Club DJing all their private parties but by the 2nd week of December a man can go mad from listening to christmas songs for the 1st 1 - 2 hours using it as background music till the PARTY got started then it was good fun.  Still got a few contacts regarding equipment so might look into it later in the year.

Richie.

I had to clean the carpet last week at a pole dancing club - right in front of the stage while a girl was practising. I must have been too close though coz I got a nasty crack in the face  :D
